Always remember to dance in the rain...

Always remember to dance in the rain...
On Friday, May 30th, I went to Mountain View High School's Graduation for Allison Bell and Holly Whatcott (great friends) and then after I went to the Timpanogs High School graduation for Alan Abildskov. The theme for Timpanogos this year was: "Always remember to dance in the rain." I think that is so good to remember. Sometimes in life there are going to be times that are hard and you don't feel like dancing and being happy, but if you "always remember to dance in the rain" and always have a smile on your face even though you are going through a difficult time, it will be worth it in the end.
I love dancing in the rain and going puddle jumping! If you take that saying and turn it into how you feel on the inside, sometimes you don't want to dance, but if you just get up and do it, you will feel so much better and it WILL be worth it and it WILL get easier.

what a waste of time...

So today I called Debbie (my nurse) because my arm is still really sore and it has a big knot in it. I was seriously considering going to the Emergency Room because it was so sore and it felt like someone had stabbed me with a knife it hurts that bad. Debbie told me she wanted me to come in and that she wanted the dr to look at it. ...it was a waste of time...because all he told me is that it was a "local reaction" not an allergic reaction and that it will still be sore for the next week or so, that it is not serious and that I'll be fine. How retarted!

...a fever in my arm

...I have a fever in my arm. Doesn't that sound so funny?! I was laughing so hard. My nurse today told me that my body isn't reacting well to the shots that I got and when your body doesn't like something, it heats up because it knows that there is something wrong and that something shouldn't be in your body. (light bulb) No wonder my arm has been red, swollen and sore for the past 4 days. They still can't do anything about it...which is rotten, but whatever. She did say, though that next month when I have to go back in for the 2nd part of the series, if I have a reaction to it, then I won't have the 3rd part of the series. Hopefully I don't die before then. Debbie did tell me that if it's still there by Monday, I have to go in and be seen. There is nothing they can do...why do I need to go in?

Worried...

If I had a picture, I would post it, but because I don't have a picture, I will just write about what has happened. So, I mentioned getting all of those shots on Tuesday, May 13th...my right arm is so sore, red and swollen I can't even move it. Behind my right arm, there is this red patch that is swollen and so sore. If anyone even gets near my arm, I back away and nobody can even get near me it hurts so bad. I went into the Doctor's office today because I was like, "Is this normal?" and my nurse, Debbie was like, "No!" So we had my doctor look at it and he said that it wasn't normal either and that if it was still there tomorrow or if gets bigger to come back in. They couldn't do anything about it today when I was there because they didn't know which shots I got in which arm so basically I am probably going to die. OK, that was a little dramatic...but seriously, is this really normal? 3 days after...plus, I still don't feel good and I have thrown up twice today. Normal...I think NOT!

SO SICK! - 6 shots in 2 days :(

So, yesterday I got 5 shots and then on Monday I got 1 shot. I really just don't feel very well. It was so funny, though. Yesterday when I got the 5 shots, I passed out and threw up at the doctors office. Let me explain what happened:
...so I get there and Debbie, (my nurse) gets my weight, oxygen level, temperature and blood pressure. We get in the room and she has all the shots and she was like, "Are you ready?" and I said, "Yes" So, she gave me all (5) of them and then all of the sudden I felt really hot and lightheaded. She had my lie down on the table and she said, "Take as much time as you need, there is no rush" a few minutes later, she asked me if I was OK to sit and then a couple of minutes after that she asked me if I was OK to stand. I told her I would be fine, so I stood up...NOT SMART!! I passed out. ...yes, really! She said I was out for about 4 minutes and then after I was finally alert after all of that, she gave me some cookies and juice box and told me that it would make me feel better. ...it didn't, because I threw up, right there in the doctors office. Debbie was not going to let me leave. She was so worried about me driving home that I had to stay on the phone with her the whole time driving home for the dr. office and then she came over to my house after she got off to make sure I was OK. What a good nurse. She is great! I still don't feel good, I have thrown up all day long today. I am sure everyone really wants to read all of this...but seriously, that's what happened. So much drama! Geeze! Anyway...

SiLlY gIrLs!!

Me and Sammy! We are so silly!

FAMILY PICTURES

Some are good, some are funny...actually, they are all just funny. This is my family on my moms side. My Grandma, my moms brother and wife and their kids and then my family. (my parents and my siblings) We went to this park on Mother's Day and took some Family pictures. The park was so pretty and there was a fountain and a pond. It's called Nielsen's Grove. It's so pretty. It's on 2000 South in Orem.

Conjunctivitis

...CONJUNCTIVITIS...the non-medical term for PINK EYE!! Yes, I have pink eye, again, in both eyes! :( Sad day...I hate pink eye. I started getting it all the time when I started wearing contacts. Lame, I know! So, yes, pink eye...once again. I get to be miserable for a week. Lovely, I know. Any tips anyone could give me to relieve the burning and stop scratching my eyes would be most appreciated. All my doctor told me was to put the eye drops in every 2 hours...for 5 days. :)

My Favorite Disney Princess...Princess Aurora

You Are Aurora! (A.K.A. Sleeping Beauty.)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Thoughtful and loving. Authority figures probably have been sheltering you all of your life. Thankfully you're a very tranquil person who is content with what life has given you, but secretly you want to know how the outside world works.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

When I was little, I used to watch Sleeping Beauty all the time. What is so funny about this is that Princess Aurora is still my favorite Disney Princess and it's still, by far, my favorite Disney movie.
