Yesterday it was soo blazing hot we all decided it would be fun to take a trip to Deer Creek. It was way fun! The water was cold, the sun was hot...perfect combo!! ha ha! We all had fun and that's all that matters!

100-I broke my sisters arm when she was a year and a half old
99- I had stitches under my eye in 5th grade

97- I have played softball for 10 years

for A Cappella my senior year and we went to California.
94- I have always "played" the piano (since I was like, 3) but I didn't start taking lessons until I was 13

27- Last year when I was playing softball, I hit a line drive straight to the pitcher and it hit her in the mouth...I got a home run because my coach told me to keep running!

10- Stacy and I stayed up all night long once and did some crazy things; toilet papered my aunts house, ran through the little river at the park in provo, tried on ridiculous outfits at wal-mart and got kicked out because we were taking pictures, drove to sqwa peak to see the sunrise, stole construction cones, ran through the sprinklers at windsor park and rolled down the hill getting soaking wet and wrote about our adventures on our cones.

4 years ago today, my Grandma passed away of Congestive heart failure. It has been extreamly hard on me. I miss her so much!! Even 4 years later and I still think about her all the time, but...just like everyone said, with time, it has gotten easier. That doesn't mean that I can't think about her and miss her, but I am here to tell you that it does get easier. I wrote a poem about her for my Creative Writing class my Senior year. Writing this poem has made me think of the special times I had with my Grandma, and I'll have this forever. That way when I am old and gray, I'll be able to look back on all the stuff we did together and I'll be able to make those memories for my own grandchildren. Here goes:
I love my Grandma very much, she is my
shining star and if she could
she would be here, but heaven's too far.
Turkey on Thanksgiving, Ham on
Christmas Day.
Grandma put a pound or two on me
every Holiday.
Grandma's heart was just too weak to
hold all the love she had.
She died on June 3rd, what a sad,
sad day, but just because
she's gone doesn't mean she's far away.
I love my Grandma very much, she is my
shining star, and if she could
she would be here, but heaven's too far.
4 years ago today, I got my first pair of glasses. I can't believe how time has flown by. I have had 3 pairs of glasses now and started wearing contacts, so maybe the best thing to say is that I have been wearing corrective lenses for 4 years...still, I am so grateful for this invention (glasses and contacts) I value my eyesight so much even though I need to wear corrective lenses, I still value my eyes and try my best to take care of them...even though it seems like I am always getting pink eye. :(
