These pictures were taken before Norma passed away, and I am so grateful for the time that I did get to spend with her. She is so funny. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much. JoAnn and Norma, JoAnn, Kathy and Norma. Me and Norma, JoAnn and Me and Me and Kathy. All of these women are so incredible. Since my grandma passed away four years ago, I have been very lucky to have been able to get to know JoAnn. She is an incredible woman! Norma is phenomenal. Did I mention she is really funnY?! She is...she told me a saying that she heard a long time ago and I still remember it.
"There once was a birdie flying high in the sky and he dropped a wishy washy in my eye. Now I'm not sorry and I won't cry, I'm just glad that cows don't fly." hahahaha!!! Wow, I am pretty sure that I fell over laughing at that...it's really not very funny but you had to be there.(it was 2 in the morning) Norma taught me how to play tons of card games and we laughed so much! I will never forget her. I can't wait to see her again. She is one amazing woman! I love all of these woman so much and I am so glad that we were able to share those fun times together. There will be plenty more of those to come, especially at this year's reunion... staying up laughing, talking and spending time together, makes me look forward to the years to come. "Kathy, Myrleen and JoAnn, I will beat you at canasta! I practiced!" ha ha!!

My Birthday...that was a month and 15 days ago
So, these are only a month and a half old, but at least I am posting them now...
My aunt was pointing at my cake (that was an ice cream cake from coldstone by the way) and she was trying to get me to look closer at "something" so she could smash my face in it...she's tried playing this trick on me one too many times and it didn't work this time...ha ha!- I am ashamed to say that in the past it has worked...one too many times!!
Make a wish! ...blowing out the candles with spencer, my cousin helping me.
Always "Stay in Tune" Great book, by the way. :)

My Testimony...I would be completely lost without it. How can people live without this knowledge?!
I am not really sure why I deleted this in the first place...I guess I kind of felt weird for putting it on here for everyone to see, but then I thought about it...
Am I ashamed of my Testimony? ---NO WAY!! I really want all of you to know that I know this Gospel is true. It's true, All of it! I know it is!! That's the beauty of a Testimony, nobody can argue with what you know to be true. Isn't that so wonderful!?
ENJOY!
My Testimony
I want all of you to know that I have a testimony of this gospel. I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, the only true church upon the earth. It was restored by a loving prophet called of God. Joseph Smith truly did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove and they spoke to him. Through mobs, persecutions, joy, and sorrow Joseph was faithful and restored the true and everlasting gospel to this earth for us today. I love the Book of Mormon. There is a power in this wonderful book beyond description. It is true, all of it!
The Book of Mormon was written for our day, for our benefit. Reading the words of the prophets on a daily basis will never fail to bring joy into our lives. Through fasting, prayer, and scripture study each and every one of us can be inspired as to what the Savior’s plan for us may be and how we can achieve it. There is a plan and we are a part of it. Yes, we have come to this earth to be tested and tried but we shall not fear, for the Lord is with us. Satan seeks to make us all miserable and he will continue to but we must never for one moment fall into that trap of thinking of ourselves as less than we are: Children of God. We are children of God with divine potential. We have been saved for these last days to withstand temptations which have never been so difficult but we are strong and will accomplish all the Lord has for us to do.
While on this earth we are never alone. We may have different hobbies, talents, friends, and circumstances but the Lord loves us and has sent us a way to return to Him: the atonement. This powerful gift has been given to all of God’s children and we must use it to return to Him and receive eternal joy. Our Heavenly Father sent His son, and our brother, Jesus Christ to this earth to atone for our sins. Jesus Christ is the savior of the world, he endured all things – sins, pains, sicknesses, trials, worries, sorrows – he knows exactly how to help us. He hears our prayers; he knows our thoughts; he feels our pains; he glories in our joy; he wants us to return to him. His unconditional love surrounds us always but he wants us to feel the eternal joy He has for us, and we can by allowing Him to change our lives for His purposes. Call upon Him always, through good and bad times, and He will lead you safely home.
Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today. He is called of God and receives direct revelation for us as members of the church. I know that what he teaches us is true. He loves us more than we can imagine and strives to help us find pure joy if we will only listen and heed his words. At some point in our lives we may have a difficult time with some of those things the prophet requires of us, but I testify it comes from God and that we can receive the assurance we need to obey if we will ask our Father in Heaven and continue in faith.
I know this gospel is true. I know the Lord loves us. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God. I know we have a prophet on the earth today to lead and guide us. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and we can return to live with Him some day. I bear testimony of the truthfulness of all these things, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Me and Al at the Park and The Three Musketeers! aka...Almay, Tiff, and Me
Almay...ha ha! She makes me laugh so hard! "I shall call her my squishy, and she will be my squishy, and she shall be mine!!"(she was making fish faces and pretending like she was swimming while she was swinging) Ha ha! "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!" Upside down...I have NO idea!
The Three Musketeers~Al, Tiff and Me. Best Friends 'til the end! :) Love them!
I love my friends! I don't know what I would do without them. I feel so fortunate to have such good friends. Me and Al do everything together. "A true best friend can look at you with the biggest smile on your face and still know that something is wrong." I am not very good at hiding how I feel or when something is wrong and I believe this quote to be 100% true. My friends have always proven that to me, that even with the biggest smile on my face, they still know that something is wrong, which makes them not only amazing people, but the greatest friends! I love them so much and I don't know what I would do without them.
