blogging frustrations!!!!!!!

OKAY!! I have had enough. I was having problems trying to log into this account, so I just went ahead and made another blog...ugh!! Well, I messed around long enough with it, I guess it just let me in. :D Well, I have 2 blogs now. Starting over is always a good thing, right?! :( My new URL is kaylasuekay08.blogspot.com. It's sort of the same. Just add an '08 after kaylasuekay and it's basically the same...but different, because it's a new blog. Yay! Anyway, check it out, let me know what you think, we'll see if I can keep this one up.

7 years ago...a day we will never forget

I cannot believe it's been 7 years!! I was in 7th grade when this happened. I am so grateful for the thousands of Men and Women who have died on our behalf to help save our freedom and defend our country. I am so grateful for this Country and the freedoms that we enjoy everyday because of the sacrifices of those many men and women. A day we will never forget!

Finally!

My little baby Millie had her babies last night...well, technically, very early this morning. She started having contractions around 11:30 pm and had her first baby at about 12:45 am. It was so cool to see it all happen. I have never seen anything like that and it was the neatest expierence I think I have ever had. It was SO cool! She had 5 babies and after all was said and done...it was 3:00 in the morning...so, needless to say I didn't get ANY sleep last night, but it's all good and it was totally worth it to see my baby have her babies...I'M A GRANDMA!! YAY!! Ha ha!! I'm only 19...don't ask, don't tell right! :) I took pictures so when I get them off my camera I will post some...none of the really gross ones, but of her cleaning them up and making them look good. I am so proud of my Millie!!

Broken Hand....

Okay, technically it's not broken, but I do have soft tissue damage in my right hand. Don't ever punch the wall, because you will lose.

That's what happened...I had a contest with the wall and the wall won. :)- So, I am in a brace for about 4 weeks. :( Not so cool...but I decided that for stacy's wedding since her colors are black and pink, I can put a pink ribbon around my black brace...yah, i'm a genius! Ha ha!!

SO SICK!!!

So sick...Since Saturday, I have felt very Nauseous. On my way home from my aunts house (she lives in Santaquin) I had to pull over on the freeway twice to throw up. I know it's not from my medication that I am on because I went to the dr and my NP said that it's definitely not from the meds...so what could be causing this un-explained nausea? ...I have absolutely NO idea?? All I know is that I am so sick and my entire family is gone. They have been gone since Friday and they are not coming home until Wednesday or Thursday...So I am home alone until then. Hopefully I don't die before August 29th...I can't die before Stacy's wedding...however, with the way I feel now, dying wouldn't be so bad... :(

Alan Abildskov-
6'2'', brown hair, blue eyes...pretty much I am in love with him. He got his mission call on Wednesday July 30, 2008. He is going to Santiago, Chile. I am so excited for him. I know he is doing the right thing. The people of Chile are going to be incredably blessed. He leaves November 26, 2008, the day before Thanksgiving. :( Elder Abildskov will be a great missionary. He is my best friend and I am so happy for him.

4th of July weekend

So...on the 4th of July after the parade was over, I headed home to take a nap. I was so tired! Lacey, my lifetime, best friend calls me and leaves me a message and says,"Kayla, what are you doing? You better not be sleeping!!" -ha ha!! So when I get the message, I call her back and she says, "So, your family is all at the cabin right?" and I tell her, "yes...and?" She said,"I don't want to sit home all weekend. I don't have to work, so lets pack up and go up there!" I am like, "Alright, sure...why not?!" So we packed up our stuff and me, her and her mom all head up to my cabin...which is about 2 hours away. Nobody knew we were coming. We thought it would be fun to surprise them.

Me and Lacey had just woken up...boy I look tired! Ha ha!

Me and Lace...making goofy faces...doing only what we know best!! We're so good at it!! We went fourwheeling that day. I was so dirty. I don't have the pictures because they are on Lacey's camera, but once I get them from her I will be sure to post. They are really fun pictures. :)

On Sunday, July 6th it was Sammy's birthday. On the 5th I had to go into Wyoming, which is about 30 miles away from my cabin. While I was there, I saw these cute, pink shirts that say Wyoming Cowboys. I bought all of us girls one and one for Sammy because it was her birthday. The reason I got them is because Sammy was born in Wyoming so it was fun to get her a shirt that said Wyoming on it...plus, it's pink!! :) We had a blast!! I laughed so hard at some of the things that were said I cried!! I don't normally like to go up to my cabin. That was the first time I had been there in about 6 years. It was fun to have a friend there with me so that I could enjoy it.

My Best Friend's Wedding

My Bestest friend in the whole, wide world is getting married on August 29th, 2008 in the Manti LDS Temple to her sweetheart Dustin John Young. I am so happy for them both! It's going to be crazy getting everything ready, but so fun at the same time. We have a month and 19 days and things are going to get crazy, but I am so excited to be able to be a part of the best day of her life!! Love You Stace!!

Deer Creek

Yesterday it was soo blazing hot we all decided it would be fun to take a trip to Deer Creek. It was way fun! The water was cold, the sun was hot...perfect combo!! ha ha! We all had fun and that's all that matters!

I have a gaurdian angel watching over me....I call her Grandma

4 years ago today, my Grandma passed away of Congestive heart failure. It has been extreamly hard on me. I miss her so much!! Even 4 years later and I still think about her all the time, but...just like everyone said, with time, it has gotten easier. That doesn't mean that I can't think about her and miss her, but I am here to tell you that it does get easier. I wrote a poem about her for my Creative Writing class my Senior year. Writing this poem has made me think of the special times I had with my Grandma, and I'll have this forever. That way when I am old and gray, I'll be able to look back on all the stuff we did together and I'll be able to make those memories for my own grandchildren. Here goes:

I love my Grandma very much, she is my
shining star and if she could
she would be here, but heaven's too far.
Turkey on Thanksgiving, Ham on
Christmas Day.
Grandma put a pound or two on me
every Holiday.
Grandma's heart was just too weak to
hold all the love she had.
She died on June 3rd, what a sad,
sad day, but just because
she's gone doesn't mean she's far away.
I love my Grandma very much, she is my
shining star, and if she could
she would be here, but heaven's too far.

4 eyes for 4 years...

4 years ago today, I got my first pair of glasses. I can't believe how time has flown by. I have had 3 pairs of glasses now and started wearing contacts, so maybe the best thing to say is that I have been wearing corrective lenses for 4 years...still, I am so grateful for this invention (glasses and contacts) I value my eyesight so much even though I need to wear corrective lenses, I still value my eyes and try my best to take care of them...even though it seems like I am always getting pink eye. :(
